Crust artists on the Droppin' Miles E.P.

Marshall

Lead Vocals, guitar, keyboard, lyrics

Marshall plays piano, guitar, banjo and trumpet. A member of his high school marching band, jazz band, symphony band, show band, and a cappella choir, Marshall also enjoyed several lead rolls in school plays and musicals. Marshall is a talented artist and is currently in pilot training learning how to fly.

Joshua

Guitar, drums, keyboard, vocals, songwriting

As founding member of The Crust, Joshua's life has always revolved around music. He lives to play music and never really met a musical instrument he didn't like. In addition to electric and acoustic guitar, drums, and piano, Josh plays trumpet, cello, accordian, 12-string, and bass guitar.

Active in Scouts, concert band, jazz band, and choir, Joshua was honored to be selected for OPUS (State Honor Choir) as a 7th-grader. He also loves art, is a Des Moines Art Center scholarship winner, and is an accomplished and creative cook.

Steffen

Guitar, drums, keyboard, vocals, songwriting

Steffen exudes energy. An accomplished percussionist, he also plays piano, guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, and violin. He is very busy with choir and other school-related activities, but Steffen loves performing and would rather play music and entertain than any other activity.

Jacob

Bass Guitar, drums, vocals

Jacob (aka "Jub") plays bass guitar, guitar, and drums.

He never had any true “dreams” until he found music and performing. Music is his one true passion, and he considers performing his drug of choice. A quintessential bassist, his face is calm while his fingers are flying. He's always up to jam on some Rush.

Jub enjoys being an enigma and likes to surprise with his unpredictability. Watch out.
